First of all: It was a GREAT event!
The fantastic organization by the german fellow Paneristi Volker Wiegmann, Frank Raiss and Thorsten Grothe paid: Every detail was meticulously planned and arranged.
In addition, Mr. Bonati and the team of Panerai Northern Europe as well as Richemont Northern Europe and Rueschenbeck Cologne presented themselves as real enthusiasts and made all efforts to turn this into a fascinating meeting.
The main event at 1600 german time took place at the shop of Rueschenbeck in the heart of the Cologne city. The shop was closed to host this event and the 2-story sales room was nicely decorated to honour Panerai and the community of enthusiasts.
Every available showcase was filled with Panerai products.
But not only the entire collection of Panerai was on display, even a lot of history-related pieces were presented:

And outstanding vintage Panerai, representing the history of the watches and the brand:

(well known for his book about military timepieces)
Among the contemporary watches, this special and rarely seen piece caught the attraction of yours truly:
Platinum case manual wind split-second chronograph with vintage Venus movement - a gorgeous watch!
But not only the watches on display were impressive; many of the pieces brought by the enthusiasts were as well:
